How can you say con air is a poor mans version of Air force 1, they are completely different. I will say that you are right about the las vegas strip landing scene.
Ted: Crude, perverse, and immature. It falls right into the niche created by South Park and Family Guy. It still does redeem itself by having some hilarious scenes, however. 7/10
Eww. Speed was kinda lame. So was Con Air. But, True Lies? Fuck yeah. That’s a great flick. Arnold’s best.
I thought Speed was the best action film ever when I saw it. On the subsequent rewatchable it became boring, because you knew that thrills were coming
Have you reviewed the Abuss? If not, I would like to see your opinnion. It’s EASILY in my top 10 favorites!
Big is one of those movies that i’ll watch when ever it’s on. Its the movie that got me into Tim Hangs and teaches my that i can still be a kid even after i grow up. I loved everything about this film and always root for the characters all the way from the beginning to the end. Truly a Classic and one of my all time Favs. 10/10
Jon, I need to rephrase my review a bit…
Ted: Family Guy style comedy injected into a feature length film. I liked it. It’s quite funny and has a pretty good story line. However, the tangent it takes in the third act feels a bit out of place with the rest of the movie. 7/10 — wright96d
love con air and need to see speed and true lies
You don’t have to play them, you could just use footage from them.
hey jon could you please do a review of the 1980s horror film: the shining?
and if you do you should to use the famous Jack Nicholson phrase from said movie: “HEEERE’S JOHNNY!”
Pointing out “things you notice” is fine… but needlessly correcting me infers I’m a liar. I don’t like being called a liar.
AMERICAN IS NOT A LANGUAGE JON.
TED – A Hilarious movie, with McFarlane stealing the show. My only gripes, it´s not original, it´s more like a 2-hour live action Family Guy episode, and the villain was out of place. Still a very funny movie. 8/10
P.S – You should´ve have reviewed The Lord of the Rings trilogy, now that The Hobbit is comming out
Awesome review man! I’ve been reviewing some flicks from the 90’s too.
How could I review a game I haven’t played?
oh no: youtube is changing the site again! It looks even worse.
Well, no, I ‘mean like with a Movie Night setup, like Movie Night, but with games.
Jon, you should start reviewing more than just Hollywood movies. Check out some Korean masterpieces such as:
– Memories of Murder (Tarantinos Favourite)
– I Saw the Devil
– Oldboy
– My Sassy Girl
– A Moment to Remember
– The Host
Fair points, I suppose.
hey metro red line
He was referring to the accent.
Wow, way to really play into that “brat” stereotype — here you go, whining like a butthurt loser.
And for the record, I’m happily married to a beautiful women. Thanks for being an asshole, though!
Oh, I didn’t think that through, but still, it would be entertaining, not that your entertaining, oh wait, you are.
Jon, you should do a Movie Night-esque special of Game Night and review Duke Nukem 3D, EarthBound and Ace Combat 4.
Perhaps you’re right — but I would think simply advising them, “no you’re wrong, check again” would be enough. Apparently, people think I’m an idiot and a liar.
You should totally review “Man on the Moon,” it’s my favorite movie and an incredible dramtic performance by Jim Carrey.
I apologize Mr Paula, We have been taught in school here in Mexico, that calling people by the first letter of their name is a friendly way to address them.
Scandal….
Ted: Hilarious in many rights but it’s not even close to Family Guy’s humor 5/10
Big: One of Tom Hanks signature roles, heartwarming story, and very original 7/10
I’ve fapped to Jamie Lee Curtis’ striptease scene at least 10 times.
Well, if I am honest, you may sometimes let out a stuck up nose type of atitude, that is, at least to those who haven’t followed you for enough time, thankfully I am one of those who’ve been arround for a while and know you arennt like that. Others may not see it like that though. regardless, better to feed their ignorance if its too much of a bother otherwise.
True Lies: A very amuzing and surpringly good actionflick with comic twists and terrefic acting, even by Arnold. One of his bests films.
One does not simply review 90’s action movies without terminator 2
Wasn’t aware there was an “American accent”.
I agree. Kick Ass 2 is in Post production. lookin forward to it.
Nicholas cage kick ass was awesome
Already did 12 hours worth of Earthbound videos… I’m good for now.
Well, I already did.
I’ve reviewed “Return Of The King” before. Not sure I feel like getting into a whole thing for the rest of the trilogy, but I will be reviewing The Hobbit.
I could, but I simply don’t have time to play, let alone review, that many games. Maybe someday.
wow you called me a brat you fucktard i bet you couldn’t do any better than planet of the apes and the way i know is because your videos suck dick hope you never get laid you virgin
Haha, of course there is.
Ted: Vulgar and crude, but gut-bustingly hilarious surprisingly heartwarming, Ted is one of the most creative and well-made comedies in recent memory. 8/10
Big: Tom Hanks is endearing, heartfelt, and funny. The film has a wide, child-like wonder that makes any adult wish they could be a kid again. 9/10
