I agree it a really fun movie def have to say  not as grand as the first for the reasons you braught up and honestly I didn’t like the teen gimmick besides that young girl and I really hope theres a 3rd one and the lead guy is obiousy far better in this one the first one the supposed lead guy didn’t feel like a lead guy at all

prufrock1977 says:

I’m surprised to know you were so positive about this movie. I’ve seen so many negative reviews–I expected you to be down on it too.

Irrefutable Matt says:

no ron perlman in batou glasses 🙁

glad you enjoyed it… this is another one ive been hearing mixed stuff about… good to get an opinion from someone i know has similar taste(well about 80% of the time anyway)…

valcliff b says:

Just checked out that full Pacific Rim theme, and all I gotta say is….yes, they needed more of that thrown in. They need more of that theme in Old Boy, they need more in Outsiders, Pride and Prejudice, Rogue One, Babadook, they just need to pass that shit around. XD

Alaizia Robin says:

I personally didn’t feel like it was worth the money, but it was ok.

theabberration says:

This is why we need a Real Steel sequel. Zombies are dead..Long live robot movies..

John O ́neil says:

I freaking love the Pacific Rim main theme. When you hear it you know that shit´s about to go down.

Daniel Giles says:

Alienboy says:

I really don’t like arguments like that. (Pacific Rim is already a Power rangers movie) why can’t something be its own individual thing?

Anthony Kulik says:

This movie was NOT good. Yes you had Jaugers but, where the fuck were the monsters?

Blu Jolt Pony says:

Hey The Horror Guru has anyone ever told you that you look just like Jack Black?

Cafelogis says:

Lol “slaughtered”. It was comedic how the kaiju just stepped on her family and it’s not brought up again.

Dennis Kristos says:

Great review. .. Sorry, but Amara Nemani is 15 years old. She born in 2020 and was 5 years old when Insurrector’s First Kaiju War attack in July, 2024 at Santa Monica Pier (as depicted in her Drift flashback), occurred. She was orphaned, but found an adopted family (Kai, an engineer and his assistant who actually designed and assembled the basis for Scrapper) after that event. “Amara”, an in-canon web comic tells her backstory pretty much leading up the events of “PR: Uprising”. Also, a much more detailed Jake Pentecost backstory (and the return of Hannibal Chau) are to be found in the “Pacific Rim: Aftermath” limited comic book series. We’re three out of six issues in. Look them up. .. 🙂

NCHProductions says:

wow…one of the tiny sample of channels that understood what pacific rim uprising was all about.
had no idea whats with all the negative reviews from all the mainstream channels shitting on it….

Robert Palumbo says:
