Carlos Pepió says:

Sad thing. The story looks great, it seems interesting… except for the fact that those female actresses look as tough as a bunny fighting a pitbull. Gender equality aside, it’s just not realistic. How many girls in real life would go fight human-eating monsters. If they wanted to be so “inclusive”, and not give the role to a male action star, at least they should have cast a really tough female, maybe, say, Rhonda Rowsey (The Expendables 3). Even though she’s not a real actress, at least she can look tough and believable. I mean, Natalie Portman? She could play Regan from the Exorcist and still look sweet and sexy.

Eye4Silver says:

Glad I didn’t see this trailer, they pretty much spoil a lot of the really good parts.

IGotARMY TaeJin says:

Saw this movie with family. Was confused as hell. Fell asleep mainly. The volume of the sounds at the end were so freaking out, I had to cover my ears.

Lala Demo says:

This was an interesting movie. I just saw it tonight in theater. It leaves a lot of unanswered questions however.

Caitlyn says:

All these movies with female leads being “soldiers” and qualified. Yet…females in the military are POGs and the ones who tried the experimental training failed catastrophically, both on officer and enlisted side…haha, so yes, sickly Nathalie Portman is totally equipped for the job.

andrew lloyd says:

It’s on Netflix this month

Gene Wishum says:

The trailer looked cool so I read the first book to get on board with the material….granted, I’m just an avid reader and possess no authority on literature, blah blah blah…..I thought it was a piece of crap. There’s a little suspense to keep you turning pages but it’s a whole bunch of nothing happening until the very end. And even the ending is very abstract and indefinite. So I automatically turn into a sheep and want to buy the next book. Probably will too. Bah ah ah ah. The positive is that the book (the first book at least) is pretty short.

Angelo Stevens says:

Natalie Portman… yuk.

SPOILER FREE REVIEW: I just watched this movie, and it was bloody brilliant! I was in the second row, in a packed theatre, and it’s one of the most visually stunning films I’ve seen in recent years, and genuinely scary too. No jump scares, just genuine fear. It’s the first time in my life the end credits have rolled, and I haven’t moved from my chair… nobody did. We were all in awe over it!

This movie was laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

jldude84 says:

Great movie. The weirdest part was even as weird as it is, it’s NOT really meant to be horror or alien movie per se, only a few legit creepy moments. Was a little slower tempo than I expected but I was legitimately entertained for damn sure. NOT your typical cheesy half-assed sci fi like we’ve been subject to lately, but rather a LEGITIMATELY creative creepfest. The mutated bear in the house scene…wow. I’ve never seen that kind of creativity in a sci fi since like the Matrix or something. Genuinely creepy. But don’t want to give it away here. I have to admit by the end I was subconsciously asking for more…

DEFINITELY worth renting if you like a good sci fi.

Hans Tun says:

Plot holes the size of Alaska but was still a pretty good movie.
