Orlando Streets says:

Please keep the classic reviews coming. Your printing money. Nice review. The chemistry between those two actors was magic and very memorable. The movie however was a little too fanciful for my taste. “C”.

محمد الاهدل says:

Hi

Nathan Logan-cooney says:

FYI roger Ebert is a great critic but has a lot of misses on great films. So I take his recommendations with a grain of salt.

SergeTheBlerge says:

Why didn’t Chris ever review The Happytime Murders?

Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez says:

Review Metropolis (1927)

Fun fact. The chemistry between Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid inspired the relationship of Spike Spiegel and Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop

Alex Gabel says:

Great film! One of the best screenplays of all time

kudlatytube says:

JESUS CHRIST! The explosion REALLY is staggeringly good. So much better than what we have now. You actually see that it’s REAL!

Parker Haller says:

I think this a great point in looking at older movies. I was prepared for this series to be nothing but A+ reviews. But it is common and acceptable to call an older movie a classic but not perfect.

Vishwanath H says:

Chris, did you watch searching movie and what did you think of it?

Dennis Caouki says:

Favourite Paul Neman film is Cool Hand Luke – may be my favourite movie – be awesome if you could review that film!

Warnerchild says:

That shirt is gross and doesn’t suit you or even fit you by the looks of it so the app must be shit

Thanks for this one. Millennials need a better sense of history.

WH250398 says:

Maybe review Ben-Hur 1959?

Stewart Hines says:

I love this movie. Your review was spot on.

Idan Winter says:

Also, I know how much Chris adores Ebert, but didn’t Evert HIMSELF said once he doesn’t consider video games an art form? Which is a really fucking stupid thing to say obviously

Nikhil Bhagat says:

Review Heat (1995)

PixelRelatedismyname says:

Are you going to review any of the Bergman or Tarkovsky films? I feel like you would like Bergman’s work, though Tarkovsky can be a bit pretentious.

Gavin Henderson says:

Interesting, I have yet to see this. Must get round to it.

Denise Matthews says:

Thank you for your review, Chris! I have loved this film since I graduated from High School in 1974. I agree, on so many of your points in terms of pacing; but the incredible cinematography and chemistry between Redford and Newman was like nothing we have seen since. At the time, I think the people who did go to see that film went because of them. That goes for The Sting, too. They were truly brilliant together.
It’s funny you should mention the scene where they blew up the train car; because the very next line got the biggest laugh: Sure you got enough dynamite there, Butch? Thanks again for the review, it made me smile. If you haven’t done The Sting, I hope you do! Love your videos, by the way!

Kiwi says:

I mean these are nice Chris but I think it’d be stellar if you also reviewed some movies that are not really classics but also good from pre-70’s. Just saying

minski76 says:

Not to dismiss your sponsor, but do you need personal stylists to recommend you plaid shirts? :)

James Ward says:

Can you please do a review of Citizen Kane it’s a masterpiece

Katie Baily says:

My stepdad loves this movie almost as much as he loves The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

benway23 says:

I agree, this is a great flick. Thank you for your work.

Jesse Stael says:

A “sequal” to butch cassidy is “Blackthorn” (2011) starring the late Sam Shepard..a very underrated movie

Kyle W says:

You ever reciewed Hell or High Water? That’s an A for me and reminds me of this movie.

IndieMan C says:

Chris, review evil dead 2 dead by dawn.

Classic horror movie reviews. We need them!!!!

Logan Koeppe says:
