Glass Movie Review: No Split Here, Glass Is One Beast of a Movie

Glass was screened for press last night from Universal Pictures. The trailers have teased an impending confrontation between David Dunn and The Beast orchestrated by Mr. Glass. It’s also the third installment in M. Night Shyamalan’s Eastrail 177 trilogy. Bruce Willis returns as Dunn as well as Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price aka Mr. Glass and joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

John Rocha and Jeff Sneider sit down to give you their NON-SPOILER review of the movie. They give you their thoughts on what they liked and didn’t like about the movies and if this is a worthy ending to the trilogy. It’s a much anticipated film and Rocha and Sneider couldn’t wait to talk about it. Let us know what you thought about this trailer in the COMMENTS section below. No.9 TV says:

The question is are we going to explore a bigger unbreakable/split universe?

Horrornado says:

As most, I’m skeptical of anything Sneider likes…which isn’t much.

Danielle Jackson says:

Black man gets the two white men to battle, YES lol

The Jaysus Network says:

But how can it be up there with Logan if it wasn’t a masterpiece? Logan is a masterpiece!

Ndudi Obichi says:

The movie is brilliant!!! I haven’t seen it yet tho…but James McAvoy is in it so it’s automatically BRILLIANT!!!!

Browning Bros says:

It’s not a comic book movie… it’s a superhero movie maybe.

Jason Yuen says:

the idiot on the right i remember liked transformers. the shit ones not bumblebee. so take it how you may.

keyser Söze says:

Reading through these comments, its sad that people lets others and “critics” decide whether they’ll like a movie or not. Just see for yourself, and if watching these clips are gonna subconsciously alter your opinion on a movie then don’t watch them

Austin Morales says:

Why can’t the aliens go through wooden doors?!!! Jk can’t wait to see Glass!!!!

“Glass? Who gives a shit about glass? Who the fuck is this?!” – John McClane

\MechaSensei// says:

I read the spoilers. The ending is terrible and is why it has 37% on RT. Idk why Shamaylan made this choice. You can probably gather what this ending is by mad ppl are about it.

olivia twyst says:

What you thought they call me Mr. Glass?!

jmmurica ! says:

Unbreakable movie brilliance is the illusion of cinematography as though it is a “comic book” without being a comic book.

Miles Morales says:

I NEED those shirts

Faux Fennec says:

God dammit you said no spoilers & then you mention Jackson is a no show until much later?! :/

Robert Thompson says:

Christ, you just couldn’t keep politics out of it, could you? Stopped watching as soon as you claimed that the movie is about ‘fighting back against our current administration’. You understand that this trilogy started in the early 00’s right? This movie is about finishing the trilogy. There’s no subliminal messaging, no message to ‘fight back’, it’s a super hero movie, plain and simple.

Caleb Witts says:

James Jackedavoy

MrJonavo says:

Ok, these guys sound like they understand M. Night and loved it, so I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

Vladimir Petroski says:

20 million dollar budget

XDviper45 says:

I disliked Unbreakable when I saw it back in the day and havent seen it since. Split was fine, but I waited until streaming to see it, and that’s what I’ll do for this one too, wait until streaming.

Uaine Diabhal says:

I pray to God that M. Night did this one right because IT IS WAYYYY TOO PROMISING… It’s one thing if every movie sucks, but terrible sequels are an especially egregious slap in the face – even more so when people destroy amazing songs & movies. Like when Korn destroyed Pink Floyd’s “Wall” or all of the unspeakable things that were done to “the Terminator” and “Alien” movies; things like that should be considered hate crimes

s Hill says:

Holy SHITE! M. Night compared to Spike Lee is damn perfect. I completely agree. Some of the most brilliant and horrendous filmwork I have ever seen. From both. Crazy shit.
