I went in expecting too much and left feeling underwhelmed. How they opened the movie and then ended it just felt like two different stories. I felt there were some aspects that could’ve been further explored, but instead were traded for cheap jump scares and the “let’s check out that creepy noise that may lead to me possibly getting killed or severely injured” trope.
Just watched it an hour ago with no prior knowledge to the Conjuring. And still, I felt a lot was missing, and a lot could’ve been added.
I had a theory going in my head about the other nuns there, which turned out that they were never there in the first place, so then I just kinda ended up in a stagnant disappointed mood for the remaining bit of the film.
So should I watch this?
I was planning to go tomorrow
I was scared watching this. I agree with what u said about the weak plot tho
SPOILERS: hated the little romance thing going on between the French dude and the nun. other than that i love jump scares. i do it to people all the time and just like them they will land a scare or wont.
well poop
The maurice part in the end was pretty cool how it was him that they were doing the exorcism on
I thought that the beginning was honestly good, we got sort of a mystery to start off but than not really because they gave it away saying that the demon would stop at nothing to get her “2nd nun” and that kind of gave up a lot of the rest of the story.. also cliche after cliche after cliche.. everything that was about to happen you knew it miles away.
I don’t often hope for films to fail, but the pretentious ad campaign for this film made me hope for its failure. “Ads for The Nun were actually removed for being too scary.” Yet not a single ad was actually even unsettling to me. It felt too much like it was tooting its own horn instead of trying to sell me a product.
This movie was ehhh
10th on trending in Japan! Congratulations, Chris!!
This movie actually sucks so bad. The nun is one of those characters that are extremely scary from a distance or when it’s dark and mysterious. But the minute you see it up close it’s not scary at all. It’s so full of predictable jump scares. And the comic relief is so bad for a movie like this. Super disappointed the best part of the film is the opening scene where the nun is walking down the hall.
Spot on ..watched it last night and had the same thoughts.
First time I saw him legit annoyed
WTF If you dont like it dont watch it, its that simple. The movie was fantastic, nothing wrong with it!
This movie was my biggest disappointment of 2018.
I could have enjoyed the movie much better if it ain’t with those god damm teenagers overreacting, i purposely think that the teenagers who are overreacting just want to get attention from the other people, but what they don’t know is that there clearly annoying.
Guess how many people liked this video? Nun
I wonder if I should see the movie or not.
Nun of it was worth watching.
I’m not afraid of movies, but noises, GODDAMMIT the noises!!
Iron fist s02, please review.
One of the worst movies i’ve ever seen
The Nun honestly looks fucking terrifying but it’s disappointing to hear that everything I expected to happen in the movie, literally happen.
I loved the film but didnt loved it enough
Hello, Humans. In the words of Dr. Loomis from(Halloween) “I met him, 15 years ago; I was told there was nothing left; no reason, no conscience, no understanding in even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, of good or evil, right or wrong. I met this… six-year-old child with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and… the blackest eyes – the Devil’s eyes.”
~ Dr. Loomis
TERRANCE OUT
I sat with my friend in the cinema counting in the jumpscares. Also the plot never moved.
You could see the jump scare coming a mile away in the preview as well. I’ll just pick up a bootleg.
Am I the one out of the loop you guys have to consider the fact that this was based on a true story I’m pretty sure they can take a turn and make it more scary like the other movies but they probably want to stay true to the story? I dont know..
Ok 10 on trending go off
Growing up squad ? Anyone ?
James wan or David F Sandberg(director of annabelle creation DC’s SHAZAM and lights out ) one of the should’ve directed this movie.
